The TILT-created Teaching Effectiveness Framework (TEF) organizes evidence-based teaching practices into seven interconnected domains of teaching so that instructors can focus their professional development efforts on one domain at a time. The TEF provides a common language for everyone at the university to use when discussing teaching.
